Born and raised
in Paris, Alex grew up on the left bank and spent much of his teenage years in the Latin Quarter. Later he studied law, then Nordic languages and finally translation. Passionate about the North of Europe, he packed his luggage to live abroad in Germany, Sweden and Finland.
When he's not
working or dancing in the capital's techno clubs, you will find him in the gardens of the Swedish Institute. He should be there enjoying a coffee and a cinnamon bun or practicing his (amateur) yodeling.
He found his
vocation by starting to work as a tour guide to reconcile his passion for talking endlessly about Paris and his need to meet new faces every day. His tours are a delightful blend of history, Paris trivia and fun. The perfect combinations! Ask him about the hidden gardens of Montmartre, the secrets of the Catacombs or where to find the best croissant in Paris and you won't regret it!
