Overview

Want to make the best of your visit in Paris but have little time and don’t know where to start? Relax! We have planned the Best of Paris for you to see not only the touristic places, but also the local ones in your little precious time!

There are so many things to do in Paris that it was necessary to choose your activities to begin with. Your Welcomer, has selected the must-see places so that your half-day in Paris is fulfilling and successful! Let’s get right into your busy and exciting morning!

You have seen it on every advertisement about Paris you came across, but it’s a huge difference when you stand at its feet! As you are under it, learn about Mr. Eiffel’s Tower, its construction and its technical success!

Time for a local activity. Public transportation! We want you to see how Parisians move in the city as you are heading to Paris’s famous gothic cathedral: Notre-Dame de Paris.

Riddle: Its elongated facades shelter the biggest art exhibitions in the world. Did you guess what are we talking about? That’s right! It’s the Louvre Museum. Your welcomer is going to tell you everything about the history of the museum, and how at the time it was a royal palace!

From the Louvre, enjoy a relaxed walk at the Tuileries Gardens. This vast and beautiful park walks you until Place de la Concorde. But no rush! There is one focal place to visit before getting to the iconic square.

It is the famous Palais Garnier, also known as The Opera. This ballet and opera hall allowed the reorganization of the whole surrounding district: avenues, streets, cafés, shaping a very harmonious set of 19th century architecture.

Now back to the iconic square! The Place de la Concorde opens widely in the center of Paris. From its heart, the urban perspectives are amazing with great monuments all around. Your welcomer is going to show you which hotels, ministries or churches are hidden behind these columned facades. Also, don’t forget to look straight ahead of you to see the glorious Champs-Elysées avenue and Arc de Triomphe!

Last but not least, your welcomer is taking you up to Montmartre to see Paris from the best point of view! The Sacré-Coeur terrace provides an extraordinary panoramic view above Paris. By the end of this tour, you will be able to point out all the places you’ve been to but also locate in the last four hours and You’ve really done all of this? Yes, you did!

FAQ

Is the Eiffel Tower visit included in the tour?

We cannot include the Eiffel Tower in this limited schedule but you will see it from distance, which is even better for your pictures! All the comments you need about the Eiffel Tower will be given anyway by your Welcomer.

How will we go from one point to the other?

You will mainly walk, that’s the best way to make the most of a city. Of course, for very distant locations, you will take the metro (tickets included).

Is our guide able to recommend us a place to eat at the end of the tour?

Of course! Your Welcomer is a Parisian expert… even for good addresses. Just ask Will the kind of place you want to eat to, and he will help.

First time ever in Paris for my partner and myself! Hopefully, we’ll be back but we took advantage of every moment. We took a half day tour with William to see the “Best of Paris”.
Not an empty promise! He guided us to the city’s highlights as well as towards more intimate districts.. We also had fun in the subway. We used it as true Parisians – totally crowded but! Uncomfortable but funny. William recommend us a restaurant for dinner. A nice and very Frenchy Le Soufflé! clide from rue de Rivoli. Their specilaity is ..le Soufflé ! salted or sweet, you can make all your meal with soufflés. A really nice Parisian first experience!
