First Time in Paris – Full Day Family Tour (Private)
Are you visiting Paris with your kids? What a wonderful idea! Our Family Tour provides as much exciting activities for you as for your children.
The main purpose of this tour is to show you the authentic French culture and the Parisian art-de-vivre while entertaining your kids with games and challenges. From eating a typical French breakfast to taking regular Parisian transportation like the metro and the bus to circulate in the city, we want you and your family to feel like true Parisians.
In Brief, this is how your day will look like:
To begin the day, you will meet your Welcomer – Your warmhearted local guide – in a typical café, for a Parisian petit dejeuner. Your kids will also have the opportunity to learn some French words and answer a “Paris for Beginners” quiz.
Family Tour and Sightseeing
After your delightful breakfast, it is exploration time! Your Welcomer has planned a magical trip to the main Parisian highlights. After visiting the beautiful Notre-Dame cathedral, you will enjoy a serene walk towards the picturesque streets of Le Marais. From there, you will take the 117-year-old Parisian metro to reach the Royal district – Opera House, Vendome square and Le Louvre – for another lovely promenade. A leisure break is then scheduled at Le Jardin des Tuileries where you are free to have lunch, a picnic in the Gardens or simply sit in a café under the Rivoli’s arcades!
Boat Cruise on the Seine and The “Arc of Triumph”
The time has come for you and your kids to enjoy a soothing boat ride that will take you along the Seine where you can gaze at the most beautiful monuments. While you reach back up to the Champs-Élysées, Anecdotes and riddles will keep your kids’ interest throughout the ride. Once you get to the most beautiful avenue in the world, your Welcomer will guide you to the Arc de Triomphe. It will be time for your kids to apply the French they have learned earlier to buy a traditional snack at a very Frenchy Boulangerie!
The Happy Ending: The Eiffel Tower
What better way to end this family tour than in front of the most famous wrought iron lattice tower? That is right! It is time for you to relax on the lawn of Trocadéro with the beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower in front of you. Your kids will very much enjoy that open space too! It is up to you to decide whether you are willing to climb that legendary Icon or just discover the area around it.
Is the tour adapted for kids?
As we have previously mentioned, this tour has been especially organized with the kids in mind! Our primary goal is that your kids enjoy this Tour, as we are very well aware of how important it is for you as parents, but also because it makes us very happy to see them smile 🙂
If you are worried that this trip would be too tiring for them, we are open to adapt the schedule following your requests (walking less, use more public transportation).
Our goal in this tour is not only to entertain your children but also to provide them general knowledge about France and Paris.
Do we visit every monument included in this family Tour?
Unfortunately, due to our tight schedule and timing, we will not have time to enter every notable monument. However, we did make sure that you enter the Notre Dame cathedral!
Is lunch included in the Tour?
Lunch is excluded from this family Tour but your Welcomer will be very pleased to show you where to eat during the Lunch Break Time according to your wishes!
Is the boat cruise private?
The short answer is no.
We are in collaboration with Batobus, one of the best boat services on the Seine which serves 9 stops, including the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Eiffel Tower to name a few.
However, we do guarantee a tranquil cruise for you and an entertaining cruise for your kids!
