Versailles Palace & Photo shoot – Family Tour (private)
This tour has been crafted to create an exceptional opportunity to have you feel what was the daily life at the Court and even become part of it! This 7-hour experience is a mind-blowing adventure where your family will not only visit the Palace of Versailles but will be able to decode the rules of the French Royalty Etiquette while having fun. To engrave your memory, you will take back home a 18th century style portrait photography.
The day will begin with a photo session at Gabriel’s boudoir-studio, located close by Saint Lazare railway station. Gabriel will make you “become” a famous painting done by one of the artists who used to paint the Royal Court, while you will be travelling to Versailles with your guide. You will discover your portrait on your return to Paris.
Let’s continue to Gare Saint-Lazare where you will catch the train to Versailles. After a 45 minutes ride, you will reach your final destination. During the trip, your kids will get an activity booklet.
Once at the chateau, you will skip the waiting line, thanks to our fast track tickets. Royalty family does not wait, of course! It will not be long for you to start going through the Official Rooms, visualized by the King himself! These rooms are a series of “Salons” that shape the Great Apartment, where the King was supposed to live but had a much more comfortable dwelling behind the scenes instead.
Enjoy the wonderful Versailles Palace and bring back a memorable souvenir with a photoshoot
From there, you will reach the Hall of Mirrors. In this impressive gallery, the 357 panels will take you away! Its high ceiling is covered with paintings glorifying the King’s authority. It is now time to enter the King’s inner bedchamber and the Council’s Salon. This is where the King spent several hours working.
You will have a lunch break in a local café, keeping you in the French 18th century spirit and then undertake a nice stroll through the Royal gardens.
Now that you know everything about the Palace of Versailles, it’s time to go back to Paris and discover what you look like when turned into a noble family from the 18th Century!
Your historical portrait will be unveiled around a glass of wine and soft drinks for your prince and princess to conclude that amazing day!
And ig you look for a more regular version of Versailles, have a look at our Versailles Family Tour!
The tour does not operate on Mondays.
