Laure is
our Fairy specialist. No kidding! Her Art History thesis is on British fairy paintings! Isn’t that lovely? She has also completed no less serious internships in prestigious institutions such as Musée d'Orsay, Paris, and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. She's been a tour guide for over 5 years and is passionate about 19th century visual arts, museums and galleries.
Constantly
on the lookout for new cultural experiences, she is drawn to art in all its forms: painting, sculpture, performance, literature and cinema. She's eager to discover lesser known stories about Paris and loves sharing recommendations for art exhibitions, rock music venues or quirky districts to visit. Herself a frequent exhibition-goer and avid reader, she is looking for the spark of delight that leaves you speechless or hilarious.
Her accent
in English is a mix of South-African and British-English, as charming as the famous Frenchie-sexy accent. Oh! She’s also one of the rare Parisian “singing guides”, though her passion for musicals got her more into English-speaking lyrics than “variété française” (French pop songs).
